Ring Car Cam sales stopped

UPDATE Feb 24, 2024: Ring has halted sales of its Car Cam dashcam just over a year after launch due to production delays, poor reviews, and lackluster demand. The device failed to gain traction. Read our dedicated article here.

Ring, the home security company owned by Amazon, has announced the launch of its latest product at CES 2023: the Ring Car Cam. This innovative dash cam features dual-facing HD cameras that can record both the front and rear of your vehicle.

One of the standout features of the Ring Car Cam is its Live View capability, which allows you to stream video from your car in real-time. This can be especially useful if you’re involved in an accident or need to monitor your car while it’s parked.

The Ring Car Cam also has Two-Way Talk functionality, which enables you to communicate with people inside or outside your vehicle. This could be handy for giving instructions to a passenger or communicating with a law enforcement officer at the scene of an incident.

In addition to these features, the Ring Car Cam also has motion detection capability. This means that it can detect and record any movement within its field of view, ensuring that you won’t miss any important events.

The Ring Car Cam will be released on February 15th and will be available for an introductory price of $200. After the launch, the price will increase to $250 as the retail price.

The Ring Car Cam looks like a promising addition to the market of dash cams. Its dual-facing HD cameras, Live View capability, Two-Way Talk functionality, and motion detection make it a feature-rich and versatile product that could be a valuable asset for any driver.
