Apple TV+ Revealed Premiere Date for Second Season of "Doug Unplugs"

The second season of “Doug Unplugs,” which will release its seven brand-new episodes globally on Friday, September 17, was announced today via Apple TV+.

As they embark on new adventures in Mega-City this season, Doug and Emma have developed into adept explorers. They find themselves studying the deep sea, performing in a band, and attending classes!

“Doug Unplugs,” a DreamWorks Animation and based on Dan Yaccarino’s “Doug Unplugged” book series, features a young robot named Doug who suspects there’s more to life than facts. While other robots are plugged in for their daily download, Doug unplugs and ventures into the human realm, where he and his closest friend Emma witness firsthand the glories of the human world.

Jim Nolan, Aliki Theofilopoulos, and Dan Yaccarino executive produce “Doug Unplugs,” which features Brandon James Cienfuegos, Kyrie McAlpin, Eric Bauza, Mae Whitman, Leslie David Baker, and Becky Robinson as voice actors.
