Pinterest just introduces a brand new Pinterest TV, a new destination of a series of live, original, and shoppable episodes featuring creators on Pinterest. The Pinterest TV episodes will be refreshed every weekday and will be recorded and available for Pinners to view on-demand as well as save and rewatch later.

Starting November 8th, episodes will be aired on Monday, Friday at 3 PM PDT or 6 PM EDT in the US on iOS and Android platforms. Every Friday, products will be released in a live shopping experience, where Pinners may take advantage of discounts from brands such as All Birds, Crown Affair, Melody Ehsani, Outdoor Voices, Mented, and more.

To access Pinterest TV, tap the TV icon in the upper left corner of the Pinterest app to view episodes, and interact with hosts or ask questions via chat and get live answers.

Pinterest also introduces a virtual studio alongside Pinterest TV, allowing Pinterest producers to collaborate directly with each creative to create unique content that includes “backstage” A/V support and goes online with captivating episodes. Creators who hosted Pinterest TV episodes during the pilot period saw a significant rise in their platform following, with some more than tripling their followers after a live episode.

Additionally, creators can feature and tag products on Pinterest TV so that Pinners can shop and purchase on the retailer’s website. To enable live shopping experiences, hosts will have a shopping toolbox that includes a product drawer with prices and product details, product drops and brand partnerships, a display of how much is left, and a limited-time-offer module to provide discounts.
