OnePlus, the popular smartphone brand known for delivering premium features at affordable prices has announced its foray into the tablet market with the introduction of the OnePlus Pad. The tablet boasts impressive specifications that are sure to entice consumers and is expected to be available for pre-order in North America, Europe, and India in April, price to be announced.

The OnePlus Pad features an 11.6-inch LCD display with a resolution of 2000p and a refresh rate of up to 144Hz for compatible apps. The screen supports Dolby Vision, and the tablet’s speakers support Dolby Atmos for an immersive audio-visual experience. The aspect ratio of 7:5 is an unusual but intriguing feature, making the tablet taller in the landscape compared to a 3:2 display and not quite as tall as a 4:3 display.

The tablet is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 and comes with up to 12GB of RAM, making it capable of handling demanding tasks with ease. The 9510mAh battery can be fast-charged at up to 67W and promises to offer up to 14.5 hours of video playback with a full charge taking approximately 80 minutes.

The camera setup on the back of the tablet features a circular bump similar to the one on the OnePlus 11 smartphone, although the specifics of the camera are yet to be revealed. Additionally, the tablet will be compatible with the OnePlus Stylo stylus and Magnetic Keyboard, sold separately, to provide a comprehensive user experience.

OnePlus aims to build a comprehensive ecosystem of devices, much like Apple and Samsung, with the OnePlus Pad being an integral part of the company’s plan. The tablet is designed to seamlessly connect with OnePlus smartphones, eliminating the need for a second SIM card, and creating a convenient and streamlined experience for users.
