The NFL is ushering in an upgraded chapter for its acclaimed streaming service, NFL Plus, as it readies for the forthcoming season. In a statement released on Thursday, the league unveiled a strategic reconfiguration that involves a revision in pricing along with an enticing addition: the integration of the RedZone channel within the premium tier of NFL Plus.

The subscription cost for the standard NFL Plus package will undergo an adjustment, transitioning from $4.99 to $6.99 per month. Subscribers, however, will continue to enjoy the privilege of accessing live local and primetime regular season playoff games through their mobile devices. This encompasses the spectrum of broadcasts encompassing local CBS, Fox, and NBC affiliates, as well as the esteemed ESPN (Monday Night Football), Amazon’s esteemed Prime Video (Thursday Night Football), and the distinguished NFL Network.

While the live game streaming remains exclusive to mobile devices, the revamped NFL Plus offering extends its scope to encompass a broader entertainment horizon. Enthusiasts can delve into the treasury of NFL Films’ archives and indulge in in-season game replays, which can be savored on television screens and computers.

Loyal enthusiasts of the NFL RedZone, the dynamic channel guided by the affable Scott Hanson that provides comprehensive coverage of Sunday’s afternoon matchups, can embrace this excitement within the premium domain of NFL Plus. This privilege comes as part and parcel of the newly introduced NFL Plus Premium plan, available at $14.99 per month. Both the foundational and premium tiers of NFL Plus will further encompass the dynamic live broadcasts of the NFL Network.

The enriched experience of the NFL RedZone feed and the comprehensive NFL Network broadcasts, inclusive of the exclusive NFL Network games slated for the upcoming season, will find their canvas expanding beyond mobile devices. A wider array of viewing mediums includes the expanse of television sets, game consoles, computers, tablets, and smartphones.

In tandem with the adjusted monthly pricing, patrons can embark on an annual subscription journey with NFL Plus. The core NFL Plus plan is attainable at $49.99 for a yearly commitment, a moderate adjustment from the previous year’s $39.99. For those seeking the pinnacle of NFL Plus immersion, the annual Premium subscription beckons at $99.99, a reasoned modification from the former $79.99 rate for the corresponding package. Notably, the league intends to extend a temporary 20% discount on annual subscription fees for both the foundational and premium tiers of NFL Plus.
