According to the recent information supplied by TF International Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple is working on a new version of the iPad mini, with mass shipments likely to begin near the end of 2023 or in the first half of 2024.

In a slew of tweets yesterday, Kuo stated that the new iPad mini’s major selling feature will be a new processor/chip, implying that the gadget will merely receive a spec bump. The current iPad mini (the iPad mini 6), which was released in September 2021, has an 8.3-inch display, A15 Bionic chip, USB-C connection, Touch ID power button, 5G connectivity for cellular variants, and other features, with prices starting at $499 in the United States with 64GB of storage.

Kuo did not reveal any other information on the next iPad mini, but he did remark that Apple is unlikely to replace the iPad mini with a foldable iPad until at least 2025 because a foldable iPad would be significantly more expensive than an iPad mini.
