Mint Mobile is shaking things up in the mobile industry once again. Despite the imminent acquisition by T-Mobile, the prepaid carrier is still making strides to improve its offerings. Starting April 14, 2023, Mint Mobile will be increasing the amount of data available to its users without any increase in cost.

The new prepaid options are nothing short of impressive:

  • 5GB a month of high-speed 5G/4G LTE data for $15 a month (up from 4GB)
  • 15GB a month of high-speed 5G/4G LTE data for $20 a month (up from 10GB)
  • 20GB a month of high-speed 5G/4G LTE data for $25 a month (up from 15GB)
  • 40GB a month of high-speed 5G/4G LTE data for $30 a month, plus 10GB of hotspot data (this is Mint’s “unlimited” plan, and is an increase from the previous 35GB of high-speed data and 5GB of hotspot data)

In a press release, Mint Mobile assures its customers that the new higher data plans will be automatically available to current subscribers when their monthly data refreshes after April 14. There is no need for subscribers to enroll, register, or take any action to receive the additional data.

This announcement comes on the heels of T-Mobile‘s recent decision to acquire Mint Mobile and its parent company, Ka’ena Corporation, in a deal worth $1.35 billion. While the acquisition is expected to close later this year, it’s evident that Mint Mobile is still focused on delivering exceptional service to its customers.

Mint Mobile has been making waves in the industry since its launch in 2016. Its unique approach to mobile service has set it apart from its competitors, and it has garnered a loyal following of subscribers who appreciate its no-nonsense, affordable service. The company’s partnership with actor Ryan Reynolds has also helped to raise its profile, and its humorous marketing campaigns have made it a fan favorite.

With its latest move, Mint Mobile has shown that it is committed to providing top-notch service to its customers, even in the face of an impending acquisition. As the company continues to grow, it’s clear that it will remain a major player in the prepaid mobile market.
