ClearVPN was first introduced in 2020 with the goal of providing users with a simple solution to address their online needs without having to possess extra tech skills. The app accomplished this by offering Shortcuts that eliminated the complexity associated with VPNs. The development of ClearVPN 2 is based on extensive research, which revealed the need for a simpler solution with a delightful interface.

The app’s new interface is more intuitive, and the three Shortcuts offered include Secure Browsing, Location Changing, and Streaming Access. The app also offers more countries and servers to connect to, with a unique approach to balancing servers that always gives users the best VPN channel for all their needs.

Privacy and security are the top priorities of ClearVPN 2, and it uses AES-256 encryption to achieve a high-speed connection while eliminating any security vulnerabilities. Additionally, the app relies on its custom protocol, IPSec IKEV2, and OpenVPN. Users can browse, play, stream, and communicate without any tracking from ISPs, and the app has a zero-logs policy that ensures it doesn’t store, share, or collect users’ online activity, personal information, IP address, etc.

ClearVPN 2 is available on all major platforms, including macOS (11 and higher), Windows 10 (Update 1809 and higher), iOS (14.0 and higher), and Android (6.0 and higher). Users can download the app for free and enjoy free secure browsing worldwide. Ukrainians can also access the premium version for free to have access to trusted sources of information. ClearVPN 2 offers two weeks of free usage of the Premium plan for all customers until March 15, 2023.

MacPaw has always prioritized user privacy and security, and the release of ClearVPN 2 is a significant milestone for the company. The app was awarded the “Mobile VPN Solution of the Year” by the CyberSecurity Breakthrough in 2021.

ClearVPN 2 offers an excellent overhaul to an already fantastic VPN solution. With its Shortcuts, zero-logs policy, AES-256 encryption, and custom protocol, users can trust ClearVPN 2 to keep them secure and protected online, regardless of their location. It’s an app that’s designed to make online browsing simple and easy, and it’s a must-have for anyone who values their privacy and security online.
