Logitech is introducing a new addition to its Brio lineup with the Brio 300, a webcam designed for budget-conscious consumers. Priced at $69.99, the Brio 300 offers 1080p/30fps capture, which is a step down from the 4K/30fps or 1080p/60fps options available in the more premium Brio 4K Pro. The Brio 300 comes in a sleek design and is available in three colors- gray, off-white, and pink.

One of the unique features of the Brio 300 is its built-in privacy shutter that can be swiveled manually to cover the camera when not in use. This feature is not present in Logitech’s other popular webcam, the C920s Pro HD, which is priced at the same $69.99 price point.

The Brio 300 connects through USB-C, which could be an issue for those with computers that only have USB-A ports. However, Logitech has confirmed that a USB-C to USB-A adaptor will work as a workaround.

In comparison to the $129.99 Brio 500, the Brio 300 has a narrower 70-degree field of view and lacks stereo microphones. Additionally, there is no mention of support for Logitech’s auto-framing feature in the Brio 300. Despite these trade-offs, the Brio 300’s lower price point makes it an attractive option for consumers looking for a budget-friendly webcam.

Alongside the Brio 300, Logitech has also announced the Brio 305, a business-focused variant of the webcam.

The Logitech Brio 300 is a budget-friendly webcam that offers 1080p/30fps capture, a built-in privacy shutter, and a sleek design. Its lower price point and unique features make it an attractive option for consumers looking for a webcam that fits their budget without compromising on quality.
