LG yesterday unveiled its newest laptop offering, the Gram SuperSlim, which the company claims to be its thinnest and lightest laptop to date. The SuperSlim is a follow-up to the Ultraslim, which was previewed at CES earlier this year. With its sleek design and impressive specs, the SuperSlim is poised to compete with other ultra-portable laptops in the market.

The SuperSlim is undeniably slim, measuring only 0.43 inches thick and weighing in at a mere two pounds. For comparison, the latest MacBook Air is 0.44 inches thick and weighs 2.7 pounds. This ultra-thin design makes the SuperSlim a highly portable device, perfect for professionals who are always on the go.

Under the hood, the SuperSlim is powered by an Intel Evo 13th Gen processor and an Intel Iris Xe GPU. It features a 15.6-inch anti-glare OLED display with a 100 percent DCI-P33 color gamut and VESA DisplayHDR True Black integration, which promises vibrant and accurate colors. The laptop has also passed seven military-grade durability tests, which should address previous concerns regarding the flexibility and build quality of previous Gram laptops.

Other notable features of the SuperSlim include a more compact power adapter, a full HD camera with integrated microphones, and three USB-C ports, two of which support Thunderbolt 4 connections. These features make the SuperSlim a versatile device that can easily connect to a variety of peripherals.

The LG Gram SuperSlim is available in two SKUs. The first model comes with 16GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD and is priced at $1,699.99. The second model boasts 32GB of RAM and a 2TB SSD and is priced at $1,999.99. Customers who purchase the SuperSlim before May 14th will also receive a free Gram +view portable monitor (worth $349.99), which adds even more value to an already impressive device.

It is worth noting that Apple is rumored to be launching its own 15-inch ultra-portable laptop in the near future. However, the SuperSlim has already hit the market, giving LG a head start in the race for the thinnest and lightest laptop.
