Remember that Jony Ive, the mastermind behind Apple‘s iconic designs, has teamed up with Moncler to create a new line of modular jackets?

These aren’t your average winter warmers. We’re talking about a collection that’s so stylish, it’s been dubbed “the season’s most functional outerwear” by Vogue. And the price tag? Well, let’s just say it’s as high as the fashion bar.

  • LoveFrom, MONCLER Parka — $2,440
  • LoveFrom, MONCLER Moncore Down Jacket — $3,115
  • LoveFrom, MONCLER Field Jacket — $2,575

The LoveFrom, Moncler collaboration offers three shell jackets made from recycled nylon, each designed to connect to a core down jacket. The layers come in a variety of colors, including white, yellow, green, light blue, and a striking orange. The best part? You can mix and match them, just like building your own custom jacket.

Cut from the same cloth. Every piece in the modular LoveFrom, MONCLER collection is crafted from a single piece of fabric that fastens, folds, and zips for ultimate hybrid function.

But here’s where things get really interesting: Ive didn’t settle for ordinary buttons. No, sir. He had to redesign the entire fastening system. The result? A magnetic “duo button” that’s both stylish and functional. It’s a testament to Ive’s obsession with detail and his belief that even the smallest elements can make a big difference.

And if you think the button is the only thing that’s been meticulously designed, think again. Ive also insisted that each jacket be made from a single piece of fabric. It was a challenging task, but Moncler managed to source unusually large looms to make it happen. The result is a garment that’s not only stylish but also incredibly practical.

So, if you’re looking for a jacket that’s both functional and fashionable, and you’re willing to spend a pretty penny, the LoveFrom, Moncler collection might be just what you’re looking for. Just be prepared to act fast, because some of the colors are already sold out.
