Apple is likely to unveil the iPhone SE 2020’s successor at its March 8th ‘Peek performance’ event. It’s unknown whether the iPhone SE 2022 or iPhone SE 3 will be the next one. Ming-Chi Kuo, an Apple analyst, revealed important facts regarding the design, chipset, and color options of the iPhone SE 2022 a day before its unveiling.

Some predictions for the coming new iPhone SE:
1. Mass production in Mar'22.
2. Estimated shipments of 25-30 mn units in 2022.
3. Storage: 64/128/256GB.
4. A15 & 5G support (mmW & Sub-6 GHz).
5. Casing: white, black, and red.
6. Similar form factor design to current SE.

— 郭明錤 (Ming-Chi Kuo) (@mingchikuo) March 4, 2022

The iPhone SE 2022, according to Kuo, will feature the same form factor as the iPhone SE 2020. The iPhone SE 2022, like its predecessor, will become in a choice of multiple colors and storage capacities of 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB.

The iPhone SE 2022 will be available in multiple colors, including white, black, and red. The Apple A15 Bionic chipset will power the device, which will also feature 5G connectivity (mmWave and sub-6GHz). The iPhone SE 2022 will go into mass production this month, according to Kuo. In 2022, the phone is estimated to ship between 25 and 30 million units.

The support for 5G connectivity looks to be the sole significant difference between the iPhone SE 2022 and its predecessor. According to prior reports, the iPhone SE 2022 will keep the 4.7-inch LCD display and the physical home button on the front, which will be combined with the Touch ID fingerprint reader.

A few other Apple items will be unveiled at the March 8 event. The Apple A15 CPU, 5G functionality, a 12-megapixel FaceTime camera, and Centre Stage support are all expected to be included in the iPad Air 5. An M2 chip-powered MacBook Air, a 23-inch Mac with an HDR display and an M1 Pro/Max chip, and a Mac mini with an M1 Pro/Max chip are all possible debuts.
