After more than nine years in development, the Halo TV series is almost ready, and with its high production value and a high-profile cast of excellent performers, the series is likely to impress both longstanding Halo fans and rookies to the franchise. But How to watch Halo TV series? and when is the show going to air?

Don’t worry, we’re here to help. We’ll go over everything you need to know about the Halo TV series release date, including what to expect from the program, when each episode will premiere in your time zone, and which services you’ll be able to watch it on once it’s live.

Since the release of Halo: Combat Evolved in 2001, the Halo TV series has been the official TV adaptation of Microsoft and 343 Industries‘ renowned Halo franchise, which has inspired multiple video games, novels, and short films. The show was once announced as a SHOWTIME original in 2013 and was set to premiere in 2015, but it was repeatedly postponed as the series’ directors and producers changed, and it was eventually shifted to Paramount Plus.

The Halo TV series features Spartan supersoldier Master Chief (played by Pablo Schreiber) and his companions (played by Kate Kennedy, Natasha Culzac, and Bentley Kalu) as they, along with the rest of the United Nations Space Command (UNSC), attempt to stop an alien alliance known as the Covenant from wiping out humanity. Miranda Keyes (played by Olive Gray) and Spartan Soren-066 (played by Bokeem Woodbine) are two additional major characters, and the show will also feature Makee (played by Charlie Murphy), a human woman who was raised by the Covenant and works with them.

Interestingly, the Halo TV series takes place in a “Silver Timeline,” a different version of the Halo universe that is very similar to, but not identical to, the canon of the Halo games and novels, as defined by 343 Industries. This Silver Timeline has allowed the showrunners to build the tale without having to worry about conforming to the events of earlier Halo media, as well as making the TV series more approachable for those new to the Halo franchise.
