Grubhub, the popular food delivery app, announced a new partnership with Starbucks on June 6th. This means you can now get your favorite coffee, tea, pastries, and sandwiches delivered straight to your doorstep – well, almost everywhere in the US, that is.
Here’s the scoop: Starting this month, Starbucks will be available on the Grubhub app and website in select locations across Pennsylvania, Colorado, and Illinois. The good news is, this isn’t a limited-time offer. By August, Starbucks delivery will be available nationwide, so no matter where you are in the US, your daily dose of caffeine and a tasty snack won’t be far away.
According to Grubhub, Starbucks was the most requested restaurant missing from their app. This partnership lets them finally compete with rivals like DoorDash, which has been offering Starbucks delivery for a while now. You can also get your Starbucks fix through Uber Eats and Postmates if Grubhub isn’t your go-to app.
This Starbucks deal isn’t the only big news for Grubhub. Last week, Amazon added Grubhub to its website and app, making it even easier to order food delivery. Here’s the sweetener – Amazon Prime members can now enjoy Grubhub Plus for free, permanently. Grubhub Plus is a monthly membership program that typically costs $9.99 and waives delivery fees on orders from a variety of restaurants, including Starbucks. So, if you’re a frequent Grubhub user, especially a Starbucks aficionado, a Prime membership just became even more enticing.
