Are you considering buying a new phone? If so, now might be the perfect time to upgrade to the latest Google Pixel. Best Buy is currently offering a limited-time deal on the new Google Pixel 7a. You can get this phone for just $449 (normally $499), which is the original price of the Pixel 6a. But, there’s a catch.

To take advantage of this deal, you must purchase the unlocked Google Pixel 7a from Best Buy. When you do, you will receive a $50 Best Buy gift card with your purchase. Additionally, if you activate your new phone, you can save an additional $50. However, activation savings may vary by carrier, and terms and conditions may apply.

Recommending Pixel 7, just add $100 more (currently $100 off on Best Buy (now $499, was $599), making it the same price as Pixel 7a)

It’s important to note that if you return your phone for any reason, you will lose your gift card. However, if you exchange your phone for another phone, you will still be eligible for the gift card offer.

The Google Pixel 7a was just announced at this year’s Google I/O event on May 10th, 2023. It is powered by the Google Tensor G2 chip, which is the same SoC found in the Pixel 7 and 7 Pro. The display refresh rate has been improved to 90Hz for smooth scrolling (compared to Pixel 6a’s 60Hz), while the display size remains the same 6.1-inch OLED HDR display with 1080 x 2400 resolution.

In terms of battery life, the Pixel 7a comes with a slightly smaller battery than the Pixel 6a, 4410mAh. However, with a 4385mAh battery, it is still more than capable of lasting all day and supports Power Delivery 3.0 and 7.5W wireless charging.

One area where the Pixel 7a really shines is in its camera specs. It outperforms the Pixel 6a with its dual rear cameras, featuring a 64MP main wide camera and a 13MP ultrawide camera, compared to the 12.2MP main wide camera and 12MP ultrawide camera on the Pixel 6a. The front-facing camera on the Pixel 7a is also superior, with a 13MP ultrawide camera that can record 4K videos at 30fps.
