Fans of the critically acclaimed God of War series may soon have reason to rejoice as reports suggest that the highly anticipated God of War Ragnarök could be making its way to PC.
According to Dealabs, a reputable source known for its accurate leaks, an announcement regarding the PC version of God of War Ragnarök may be just around the corner, possibly as early as this month. While specifics regarding the release date remain shrouded in mystery, speculation is rife that Sony might seize the opportunity to unveil this much-awaited news during an upcoming showcase event.
Dealabs has a proven track record when it comes to such revelations, having accurately predicted the PC release of Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition in the past. Similarly, the platform hinted at a revamped version of Supermassive’s Until Dawn, which materialized as a remake by Ballistic Moon during a previous PlayStation State of Play event.
As gamers eagerly await the arrival of God of War Ragnarök on PC, it’s worth noting that Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut is slated to be the next PlayStation title to make its PC debut, set for release on May 16. Notably, it will be the first PC release to support Sony’s innovative PlayStation overlay feature, sparking hopes that God of War Ragnarök may also benefit from this enhancement.
However, amidst the anticipation, questions linger regarding Sony’s approach to PC gaming. The company recently faced criticism for attempting to enforce a PSN sign-in requirement for Helldivers 2, a decision it ultimately reversed. With Ghost of Tsushima requiring a PSN account for multiplayer access on PC, gamers are left wondering how Sony will navigate such requirements for future PC releases.
