Now Facebook has been adding two new destinations: Photobucket and Google Calendar and one new data type: Facebook Events to its Transfer Your Information Tool which will give more control to users over transferring their Facebook information.
This open-source Data Transfer Project was launched in 2018 to create an open-source service-to-service data portability platform so that all individuals across the web could easily move their data between online service providers whenever they want. The principle of data portability is to give people control over their data and the choice to be able to move it while also encouraging innovation.
