ExpressVPN, a renowned Virtual Private Network (VPN) service provider, has long been a favorite due to its user-friendly interface, extensive server network, and top-notch support. Now, this leading brand is taking its offerings to the next level with a series of exciting upgrades in its latest app update, which include a built-in ad blocker, expanded server options, and more.

The company made the announcement via its official blog, unveiling five key features that aim to enhance the overall VPN experience. As the online landscape has evolved, advertising has become a fundamental revenue source for most websites. While there are methods available to combat intrusive ads, such as browser extensions and DNS filters, ExpressVPN is simplifying the process by introducing native ad blocking within its app. This means that users can activate the VPN and bid farewell to pesky ads.

The advantages of this ad blocker go beyond just eliminating annoying ads. It’s also expected to result in a faster and smoother browsing experience. Furthermore, the app will now provide the option to block adult content, making it a valuable tool for concerned parents. Users of Windows, iOS, and Android can already explore these new features, while those on Linux and Mac will need to wait a bit longer, as the company plans to roll out these updates by the year’s end.

ExpressVPN isn’t stopping at ad blocking. They’ve expanded their server network from 94 to 105 locations. The company assures that these new servers are not only numerous but also fast and reliable. Users looking for diverse routing options can now choose from 11 additional locations, including Bermuda, Cayman Islands, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Ghana, Guam, Honduras, Jamaica, Lebanon, Morocco, Puerto Rico, Trinidad, and Tobago.

In addition to these exciting feature upgrades, ExpressVPN has increased the number of devices that can be connected simultaneously from five to eight. This means users can secure their data on up to eight devices at once. Importantly, this change doesn’t restrict the number of devices you can install the VPN on; it merely dictates how many devices can be connected simultaneously.

Lastly, ExpressVPN users can now enjoy the convenience of automatic updates, ensuring that they always have the latest version of the app at their fingertips.
