Ewan McGregor and Ethan Hawke will lead in new Apple Original Films “Raymond and Ray,” produced by Apple Studios and written and directed by Rodrigo García.

Raymond and Ray” is a film concerning half-brothers Raymond (Ewan McGregor) and Ray (Ethan Hawke) who have grown up in the shadow of their terrible father. They haven’t lost their sense of humor, and his death is an opportunity for them to redefine themselves. There’s rage, pain, folly, love, and grave-digging, to name a few things.

The picture will be produced by Oscar winner Alfonso Cuarón, Bonnie Curtis, and Julie Lynn under Mockingbird Pictures, and will be released by Apple Studios. Executive producers will include Gabriela Rodriguez and Shea Kammer.
