“Dr. Brain” premiers globally on November 4th in South Korea on Apple TV+

The new Apple Original Series “Dr. Brain” will premiere globally on Thursday, November 4th on Apple TV+ and in the United States on Wednesday, November 3rd. In addition, Apple TV+ will be available in South Korea. “Dr. Brain” is the first Korean language series to premiere on Apple TV+. It is directed and executive produced by visionary filmmaker KIM Jee-woon and is based on Hongjacga’s iconic Korean webtoon of the same name.

The series follows Sewon (LEE Sun-kyun), a brilliant brain scientist who endures a tragic personal tragedy when his family is killed in an unknown accident. Desperate to find out what occurred, he goes to unusual measures to solve the tragic mystery, including conducting “brain syncs” with the deceased in order to access their memories for answers.

LEE Sun-kyun, well known to global audiences for his supporting role in the Academy Award-winning film “Parasite,” stars in “Dr. Brain.” LEE You-young, PARK Hee-soon, SEO Ji-hye, and LEE Jae-won all appear in the series.

KIM Jee-woon wrote, directed, and executive produced “Dr. Brain.” Executive producers include Bound Entertainment’s Samuel Yeunju Ha and Jamie Yuan Lai, StudioPlex’s HAM Jung Yeub and Daniel Han, Kakao Entertainment’s Joy Jinsoo Lee and Min Young Hong, and Antonio H.W. Lee. KIM Jin A and KOH YoungJae are also authors. Bound Entertainment, Kakao Entertainment, StudioPlex, and Dark Circle Pictures are producing the series for Apple TV+.
