In a delightful nod to nostalgia, Casio is set to release a miniature marvel: the Ring Watch. This pint-sized timepiece, designed to encircle your finger, commemorates the 50th anniversary of Casio’s foray into digital watches.

Casio said that the watch will be available in the U.S. for purchase on December 26th through Casio’s website. If you’re interested, you’ll need to act quickly.

Priced at approximately $120, the Ring Watch debuted in Japan this December. Its design echoes the classic Casio aesthetic, featuring a polished stainless steel case and a retro six-segment LCD screen that displays hours, minutes, and seconds. Despite its diminutive size, it boasts three functional buttons that allow users to access additional features such as the date, an alternative time zone, and a stopwatch. Notably, the watch includes a backlight and a flashing alarm function, substituting sound with visual alerts. It’s also waterproof and powered by a battery that promises up to two years of life, with easy replacement when needed.

However, potential buyers should note that the Ring Watch comes in a fixed size—US 10.5. To accommodate those with smaller fingers, Casio provides spacers for sizes 9 and 6. Unfortunately, there are no options for larger sizes at this time.

While it lacks the advanced functionalities of modern smart rings—such as fitness tracking or heart rate monitoring—the Ring Watch is a charming throwback for enthusiasts of retro technology and Casio’s storied history. Its unique design is sure to appeal to collectors and fans alike.
