The Beats Pill portable Bluetooth speaker just got a meaningful price cut on Amazon, dropping to $99.99 in Matte Black.

Amazon lists the speaker’s price at $149.95, so the current offer takes roughly $50 off, or about 33%. There’s no coupon code or membership requirement shown for the $99.99 price, making this the straightforward price to pay.

The Beats Pill is a portable speaker designed for both indoor and outdoor use. It offers up to 24 hours of battery life, and its USB-C port can also be used to charge another device. Amazon says a 10-minute Fast Fuel charge can provide up to five hours of playback.

It also carries an IP67 rating for dust and water resistance, while a removable lanyard and soft-grip backing make it easier to carry around. The speaker includes a microphone for calls and supports voice assistants through a paired phone.

For sound, the Pill uses a redesigned tweeter and a larger racetrack woofer that Beats says displaces 90% more air volume than the previous design. It also supports lossless audio over USB-C and can be paired with a second Beats Pill in Amplify or Stereo mode.

The speaker works with both Apple and Android devices, including one-touch pairing and device-finding features.

One thing to watch: color pricing varies. In the current Amazon listing, Matte Black and the tan color are shown at $99.99, while the red version is listed at $129.95. So the $99.99 deal applies to specific colors rather than every Beats Pill variant.

At $99.99, the Beats Pill sits in a much more approachable price range than its $149.95 listed price. If you’re specifically looking for a compact speaker with long battery life, water resistance, USB-C charging, and broad Apple/Android compatibility, this discount makes the Pill considerably easier to justify.
