Assassin’s Creed Valhalla – Wrath of the Druids Expansion is now out for Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S which is now available through the Microsoft store at $24.99 for separate purchase or available through Season Pass. Wrath of the Druids is included in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla’s Complete Edition, where the Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Deluxe Edition is now $48 off and the regular Standard Edition is $36 off until May 17, 2021.

Players will forge alliances with Gaelic kings, capture forbidding ring forts, and dive into the mystery of an ancient druidic cult known as the Children of Danu in Wrath of the Druids. Wrath of the Druids introduces a majestic, myth-filled open-world area to Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, encompassing Dublin and three Irish provinces, where Eivor is tasked by High-King Flann Sinna with uniting Ireland’s warring factions.

Wrath of the Druids also expands Eivor’s arsenal with new abilities, skills, and firearms. Players can wield (and dual-wield) sickles in combat as Eivor fights the Children of Danu, as well as new Irish enemy factions (not to mention more than a few mythical creatures), and use new abilities including smoke-bomb arrows and summoned Irish hounds to attack enemies.

Wrath of the Druids is connected to the main campaign, which doesn’t require a specific power level, and unlocks once players have arrived in England and completed either the Grantebridgescire or Ledecestrescire arcs. There’s a whole new land of mystery and adventure to explore, so load up the longship and get ready to see what happens when druids and Vikings clash.
