Apple has announced WWDC22 Swift Student Challenge winners for showing their abilities to design problem-solving apps in Swift Playgrounds.

Jones Mays II (age 17, his app name “Ivy”), Angelina Tsuboi (age 16, her app name “Lilac”), and Josh Tint (age 19), all first-time entrants, have now been recognized by Apple. One app helps gardeners in detecting invasive weeds, another teaches the basics of CPR, and the third helps those who are confused about their gender identity.

The Swift Student Challenge winners will not be able to attend Apple Park, but they will be recognized and their future apps will most likely be highlighted.

The winner gets an Apple beanie, stickers, a WWDC22 sweatshirt, a free pair of AirPods Pro, and a full year of Apple Developer Program membership.
