Following the release of the first teaser on October 16th, 2021, Apple TV+ unveiled the official trailer for ‘Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock,’ from The Jim Henson Company, which will premiere all 13 episodes on Apple TV+ on January 21st, 2022. ‘Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock,’ based on the iconic ‘Fraggle Rock,’ will be added to the acclaimed “Fraggle Rock: Rock On!” collection of Apple Original shorts.
Lisa Henson and Halle Stanford of The Jim Henson Company, as well as longtime Henson associate John Tartaglia, executive produce “Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock.” Showrunners Matt Fusfeld and Alex Cuthbertson, as well as New Regency’s Yariv Milchan and Michael Schaefer, executive produce. Dave Goelz and Karen Prell are co-executive producers, and Harvey Mason Jr. is the executive music producer. Ritamarie Peruggi is the show’s producer.
Apple‘s association with The Jim Henson Company includes “Harriet The Spy,” the first animated adaptation of the renowned children’s novel, and the popular “Fraggle Rock: Rock On!” shorts, in addition to “Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock.” The original “Fraggle Rock” series, as well as the recently added additional features “Down at Fraggle Rock,” “Doozer Music,” and “Fraggle Songs,” are all now available to stream on Apple TV+.
