Apple TV+ has released a teaser trailer for Lee Eisenberg and Drew Crevello’s upcoming limited series “WeCrashed,” which is based on the popular Wondery podcast “WeCrashed: The Rise and Fall of WeWork” and stars Academy Award and SAG Award winners Jared Leto and Anne Hathaway.
“WeCrashed” will premiere exclusively on Apple TV+ on March 18th, 2022.
Kyle Marvin, America Ferrera, and O-T Fagbenle also star in the limited series. “WeCrashed” will premiere globally on Apple TV+ on March 18, 2022, with the first three episodes, followed by additional weekly installments every Friday through April 22, for an eight-episode season.
The series is based on true events, including the love story at the center of it all. In less than a decade, WeWork has grown from a single coworking space to a global brand worth $47 billion. Its worth then dropped in less than a year. What went wrong?
“WeCrashed” is written and directed by John Requa and Glenn Ficarra, with Eisenberg and Crevello serving as co-writers, executive producers, and co-showrunners. Along with Charlie Gogolak, Hathaway, and Natalie Sandy, Requa and Ficarra serve as executive producers.
Hernan Lopez, Marshall Lewy, and Aaron Hart executive produce through their Wondery production company, and Leto and Emma Ludbrook executive produce through their Paradox production company.
