“The Big Conn,” a new four-part documentary series from Apple TV+, chronicles the incredible true story of Eric C. Conn, a larger-than-life attorney who cheated the government of over half a billion dollars in the greatest Social Security fraud case in history.

Conn’s con and extravagant lifestyle will be explored further with more interviews and behind-the-scenes facts in all four episodes of the series, which will launch alongside an Apple TV+ Original companion podcast. “The Big Conn” series and podcast will premiere on Apple TV+ and Apple Podcasts, respectively, on May 5, 2022.

“The Big Conn” is produced by FunMeter (McMillion$), with Hernandez, Lazarte, and Peter King serving as executive producers. It was created by Emmy Award-nominated filmmakers James Lee Hernandez and Brian Lazarte. Matt Kaye and Shannon Pence co-executive produced the documentary.

“The Big Conn” will make its world premiere at SXSW on Wednesday, March 16 at the Paramount Theatre, with a screening of the first two episodes and a Q&A with writers/directors James Lee Hernandez and Brian Lazarte.
