Good news for DIRECTV STREAM users! The Apple TV+ app is now available to install on the company’s multipurpose streaming device. This move marks the first time that Apple’s streaming network has been accessible on DIRECTV STREAM, which offers a variety of features including live TV, streaming apps, on-demand content, and DVR recordings.

Introduced in 2020, the DIRECTV STREAM box can be rented for $20 per month, and it comes bundled with some premium plans. In addition, it includes a remote control that grants access to Google Assistant. With the addition of the Apple TV+ app, users can now enjoy a wider variety of entertainment options without the need for extra hardware.

The Apple TV+ app offers a range of original content produced by the tech giant, including the popular show Ted Lasso, as well as Severance and CODA. Additionally, users can access Apple‘s extensive library of television series and movie rentals. The app also features in-app support for premium add-ons such as AMC+, Paramount+, and Starz.

While the app is widely available on other streaming devices such as PlayStation and Xbox gaming consoles, Roku, Fire TV, Google TV, and smart TVs from Samsung, LG, and other manufacturers, this is a significant development for DIRECTV STREAM users who have been eagerly awaiting this addition to their device.

The Apple TV+ app is known for its high-quality streaming experience, with content that is both engaging and diverse. With its extensive library of original shows, movies, and documentaries, Apple TV+ offers a unique and compelling streaming experience that is worth checking out.
