Today, Apple officially announced its next special event which is set to be held on October 18th, 2021 at 10 AM PDT (10:30 PM IST) at Steve Jobs Theater on Apple Park campus in Cupertino, California. Apple releases the teaser on its event page which you can see from here.
The event will be watchable via the Apple website, its YouTube channel, or via the Apple TV app and the event will be virtual due to pandemics. At this October 18th special event, we will be seeing new Mac products from Apple, which might include new 14 and 16-inch MacBook Pro models, according to rumors news.
According to rumors though, we will be expecting Apple to launch new 14 and 16-inch MacBook Pro models, the new models will be a feature in new designed, larger displays, and might be used M1X chip which may perform faster and improvements in graphics than M1 chip, and rumors also mentioned that it could support up to 32GB of RAM.
Some rumors also suggest that new models would feature MagSafe charging connectivity by replacing USB-C charging, but as our guess, it will not happen due to European Union’s New Rule and we will not confirm what Apple planned for charging, they might be continued with USB-C charging (as per our guesses).
Another report also suggests that the newer models will be bringing back the HDMI port and SD Card Reader slot. Again another report also mentioned there will be no Touch Bar for newer models, Apple will be replacing it with a standard row of keys.
In the event, we will also be expecting Apple to announce the released date for the new macOS Monterey.
