Apple is reportedly working on a new, more affordable Magic Keyboard accessory designed specifically for the iPad. According to Bloomberg‘s Mark Gurman, this keyboard is expected to be released sometime in 2025.
Unlike the high-end Magic Keyboard introduced earlier this year for the M4 iPad Pro, which boasted a premium aluminum top case and a larger trackpad, this new model is said to be aimed at the entry-level iPad and iPad Air markets. While it won’t feature the same luxurious design, it may include a function row for easier navigation.
This potential new Magic Keyboard would join Apple’s existing lineup of iPad accessories, including the previous-generation Magic Keyboard for the iPad Air and the Magic Keyboard Folio for the 10th-generation iPad.
