Apple has to unveil three additional colors for the HomePod mini at the “Unleashed” event, featuring new Yellow, Orange, and Blue in addition to White and Space Gray. These three new colors offer the same functionality as the original HomePod mini and are available for the same $99 price. Apple Store is already taking orders for the new Yellow, Orange, and Blue colors, which will be available in November.

HomePod mini is just 3.3 inches in height and provides a great music listening experience as well as an integrated Siri voice assistant. “HomePod mini sounds incredible, and with access to more than 90 million songs in the global Apple Music catalog and deep integration with your Apple devices, it’s the must-have smart speaker for iPhone users,” said Bob Borchers, Apple’s vice president of Worldwide Product Marketing. “With new vibrant colors, HomePod mini fits in even more places and delivers amazing sound, the power of Siri, and simple and secure smart home controls, all while protecting your privacy.”

Apple Music, podcasts, iHeartRadio,, and TuneIn radio stations, as well as major music services like Pandora and Amazon Music, are all compatible with the HomePod mini. Multiple HomePod mini speakers work together to transmit music or podcasts to multiple rooms in perfect harmony. By placing two HomePod mini speakers in a single room and filling the space with rich, enveloping sound, a stereo pair may be produced for a vast soundstage.

Using computational audio, the HomePod mini provides an exceptionally rich and comprehensive acoustic experience for maximum efficiency. The HomePod mini’s Apple S5 chip works with advanced software to analyze the specific features of the music and apply complex tuning models to maximize loudness, change the dynamic range, and monitor the movement of the driver and passive radiators in real-time to achieve broad sound from such a compact design.

The Apple-engineered full-range driver provides deep bass and clear high frequencies thanks to a neodymium magnet and a pair of force-canceling passive radiators.

Apple created an acoustic waveguide for the HomePod mini that directs sound flow down and out to the bottom of the speaker for an immersive 360-degree audio experience, utilizing the same acoustic principles as the HomePod. Customers can place the HomePod mini practically wherever in the room and still hear clear sound.

The intercom feature allows family members to connect with one another at home quickly and easily. One user can send an intercom message from one HomePod to another, regardless of whether they are in a different area, a specific location, or numerous rooms in the house, and their voice will be instantly played on the chosen HomePod speaker.

Intercom works with iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, AirPods, and CarPlay, allowing anyone in the house to get intercom notifications and send intercom messages from the backyard or on their way home.
