Anker has introduced a groundbreaking solution to the perennial problem of power strip congestion. The company’s new 65W charger boasts an exceptionally slim profile and a unique design that enables it to fit snugly between bulkier power adapters. This innovative approach effectively maximizes limited outlet space.
While compact chargers are not unprecedented, Anker’s design sets it apart. Rather than employing folding prongs on the charger’s flat side, the company has strategically placed them at the end. This configuration, combined with the charger’s slender form factor, allows it to occupy minimal space on a power strip.
Currently exclusive to the Japanese market, the charger is part of Anker’s forthcoming Prime lineup. Although specific details about its internal components are scarce, early reports indicate that it can deliver up to 65W of power through its two USB-C ports. Furthermore, the charger’s rotatable prongs address a common issue with previous Anker models – accidental unplugging.
