STARZ streaming is now just $24 for an entire year

A STARZ year-long plan now costs $24, making it a budget-friendly way to stream originals and movies without paying monthly rates.

Right now, STARZ is running a sweet limited-time promo: prepay for a full year and the bill is $23.99 instead of the usual $69.99/year — a roughly $46 saving. If you prefer to go month-to-month, there’s also a short promo that makes the first three months $3.99/month before the service reverts to its normal monthly price.

For $24, you get the same STARZ catalog that subscribers know: a mix of the network’s originals (Outlander, Spartacus, Ash vs. Evil Dead among them) alongside a rotating slate of newer and older movies. Those Originals and the catalog are what make the deal attractive — if you’ve been waiting to binge something from STARZ’s library, this is a cheap way to do it.

STARZ’s app and web player are ad-free, let you download for offline viewing, and — according to the company’s support pages — allow simultaneous streaming on up to three devices. One important limitation: STARZ does not offer 4K/UHD streaming; the service delivers HD (1080p) content but not Ultra HD. If you care about native 4K titles, this matters.

If you’re a value-seeker who wants a low-cost way to add a compact library of prestige TV and a steady rotation of movies, this is a no-brainer for a year. It’s particularly useful for:

  • Fans of STARZ originals who want to catch up on one or two shows.
  • Cord-cutters who aren’t chasing a whole stack of 4K-capable services.
  • Someone is happy to prepay and lock in a lower per-month cost for the year.

Skip it (or at least don’t bother prepaying) if you need 4K titles, or if you already subscribe to multiple streamers and don’t want overlapping catalogs — once promos end, streaming bills can add up fast. Industry price creep means a single streamer that’s cheap for a year can still push your total monthly entertainment spend higher if you keep renewing multiple services.

How to claim it

STARZ’s sign-up page is where the promo is listed and where you can prepay for the year or claim the $3.99 monthly introductory price; other platforms (Prime Video, Hulu, etc.) sometimes run their own add-on promos, but the direct offer is available on STARZ’s site and in the app. Social posts from STARZ show this specific campaign running with an expiration around September 30 (so it appears time-limited). As with most promos, the subscription will renew at the standard rate unless you cancel.

This limited-time $24 STARZ annual subscription gives you a full year of ad-free streaming with access to its full catalog.

For $24 up front, you get a full year of ad-free STARZ content — an excellent short-term value if the network’s originals or the current movie lineup interests you. It’s not a replacement for a 4K-curated streaming plan, but for people prioritizing price and specific shows, it’s one of the better seasonal streaming steals you’ll see this year.
