Samsung has brought two new Galaxy accessories to the US market, with the Galaxy Buds On wireless earbuds and Galaxy SmartTag3 tracker now available for purchase. The announcement marks the US retail availability of the two devices, although they were introduced at different times.
The Galaxy Buds On is Samsung’s latest addition to its audio lineup, featuring a clip-on, open-ear design, hands-free controls, and Gemini Live integration. Meanwhile, the Galaxy SmartTag3, which Samsung unveiled in September 2026, has now reached its previously announced early November US availability window.
Samsung announced on November 6 that both devices were available starting that day, giving customers new options for everyday listening and tracking personal belongings.
Galaxy Buds On brings clip-on design and hands-free features
The Galaxy Buds On features a clip-on design intended for comfortable everyday wear. Samsung says the earbuds’ shape was developed using more than 119 million ear data points, with each earbud weighing just 6.65 grams.
Battery life is rated at up to 9.5 hours of music playback on a single charge, extending to 38 hours when accounting for the charging case. The earbuds also feature a TwinBoost Speaker, automatic volume adjustment, and Audio Leakage Reduction technology.
For calls, Samsung has equipped the Galaxy Buds On with three microphones and a Voice Pickup Unit (VPU) designed to help capture the user’s voice while filtering out background noise.
The earbuds also offer several hands-free capabilities. Users can talk to Google’s Gemini Live by saying, “Hey Google, let’s talk live,” while Quick Voice Memo lets them capture thoughts using the earbuds’ microphones. Head Gestures provide another way to interact, allowing users to nod to accept a call or shake their head to decline one. Supported gestures also include reading notifications and dismissing alarms, depending on the connected device and software version.
The Galaxy Buds On is available in Black for $229.99.
Galaxy SmartTag3 is now available after its September launch
Samsung unveiled the Galaxy SmartTag3 in September, introducing a smaller Bluetooth tracker with cross-platform support and improved location-finding capabilities. At the time, the company said the device would reach the US market in early November 2026. Its November 6 availability announcement fulfills that timeline.
The SmartTag3 is designed to help users locate everyday belongings such as keys, luggage, bags, and pet collars. Its slimmer design is accompanied by improvements to directional finding and location notifications.

One of its notable features is Compass View, which provides distance and directional guidance from up to 60 meters away under supported conditions. Samsung says that is approximately three times the range of the previous generation. The feature requires a compatible Galaxy device, with availability depending on hardware support for ultra-wideband (UWB) or Bluetooth Channel Sounding.
The tracker also introduces Place Notification, which can alert users when a tagged item enters or leaves a predefined area. Location History lets users review a tracker’s previous locations, with records retained for up to seven days. Movement Detection Alert can also notify users when movement is detected, although these features depend on nearby Galaxy devices participating in the Galaxy Find Network.
Another important addition is cross-platform support. Unlike earlier Galaxy SmartTags, the SmartTag3 is designed to work with both Android and iOS devices through Samsung’s SmartThings Find service. However, certain features remain limited to compatible Galaxy devices, so iPhone users won’t get the complete feature set.
The Galaxy SmartTag3 is available in the US for $29.99 for a single tracker or $99.99 for a four-pack.
Galaxy Buds On and SmartTag3 pricing and availability
Both accessories are now available through Samsung’s US sales channels. The Galaxy Buds On costs $229.99 and comes in Black, while the Galaxy SmartTag3 is priced at $29.99 for a single unit or $99.99 for a four-pack.
With the Galaxy Buds On, Samsung is expanding its wireless audio lineup with a clip-on design and voice-assisted features. The SmartTag3, meanwhile, brings a more flexible tracking experience with iPhone compatibility, longer-range directional finding, and additional location alerts. Together, the two launches expand Samsung’s Galaxy accessory lineup for customers looking for new ways to listen, interact with their devices, and keep track of their belongings.
