Apple TV is getting into the holiday spirit with a new Peanuts adventure. The streaming service has unveiled the official trailer for Snoopy Presents: 12 Days of Snoopy, an upcoming animated holiday special that puts everyone’s favorite beagle in an unusual predicament: he’s landed on Santa Claus’s naughty list.
The new special will premiere globally on Friday, November 13, 2026, exclusively on Apple TV. Inspired by Charles M. Schulz’s beloved Peanuts comic strip, the holiday story brings Snoopy, Charlie Brown, and the rest of the gang back for another seasonal adventure.
In the special, the Peanuts kids are doing their best to stay on Santa’s nice list, but Snoopy finds himself in trouble. With just 12 days remaining until Christmas, he sets out to prove that he’s not such a bad beagle after all.
Along the way, Snoopy discovers that Christmas is about more than presents, giving the special a familiar holiday message wrapped in the humor and warmth that have made the Peanuts characters enduring favorites.
John Legend, Laufey and Leon Bridges contribute original music
Music is another major part of the upcoming special, with Apple bringing together an impressive lineup of artists for its soundtrack.
Emmy Award-nominated composer Jeff Morrow provides the score, while the special features original music and performances from several award-winning musicians.
The musical lineup includes:
- John Legend: Performs “Get Ready,” produced by multi-award-winning musician Raphael Saadiq.
- Kamasi Washington and Leon Bridges: Team up on the original track “Trying to Get There.”
- Laufey: Performs the holiday classic “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas,” produced by Spencer Stewart.
The combination of original songs and a familiar Christmas standard should give the special its own musical identity while keeping the traditional holiday atmosphere intact.
Another Peanuts holiday adventure on Apple TV
Snoopy Presents: 12 Days of Snoopy continues Apple’s growing collection of original Peanuts programming. Apple has been working with WildBrain and Peanuts on original productions since 2018, while the streaming service has hosted the classic Peanuts library since 2020.
Apple’s expanded partnership with WildBrain, Peanuts Worldwide, and Lee Mendelson Film Productions makes Apple TV the exclusive streaming home for Peanuts programming through 2030.
The existing collection includes The Snoopy Show, Snoopy in Space, and several original specials, including It’s the Small Things, Charlie Brown, Lucy’s School, Welcome Home, Franklin, One-of-a-Kind Marcie, and Snoopy Presents: A Summer Musical.
Beyond holiday specials, Apple is also working on a new animated Peanuts feature film titled Snoopy Unleashed. The upcoming film follows Snoopy after he runs away from home, prompting Charlie Brown and the gang to travel to the Big City in search of their beloved beagle.
For now, fans won’t have to wait long for another Peanuts adventure. Snoopy Presents: 12 Days of Snoopy arrives on Apple TV on November 13, just in time to add a little Snoopy-themed fun to the holiday season.
