Walmart has cut the price of the Beats Studio Pro wireless headphones in Matte White to $149, making the colorway significantly cheaper than most other versions of the headphones available at major retailers.

The Matte White model is listed for $149 at Walmart, down from the retailer’s displayed reference price of $299. That’s a $150 reduction, or 50% off. More importantly, the discounted price is $100.95 below the $249.95 that Walmart and several other retailers charge for most of the other color options.

The price difference makes this particular version worth considering if you’re shopping for over-ear wireless headphones and don’t mind choosing Matte White over the standard finishes.

Beats Studio Pro are $100.95 cheaper in Matte White

Walmart lists the Beats Studio Pro in Matte White for $149, while its Black, Sandstone, and Deep Brown versions are priced at $249.95. The Navy option costs $199.95, and the White and Black versions are listed at $199.

The pricing gap extends beyond Walmart. Amazon lists most of its available color options at $249.95, while Best Buy charges $249.95 for most versions, with Navy priced at $202.99. Target’s Black, Deep Brown, Sandstone, and Matte Pink options are also listed at $249.95.

Beats and Apple, meanwhile, list the standard Black, Deep Brown, Navy, and Sandstone models at $299.99.

That makes Walmart’s $149 Matte White listing particularly attractive compared with the prevailing $249.95 retail price. You’re paying $100.95 less for the same headphone model, rather than giving up features to get the lower price.

What do the Beats Studio Pro offer?

The Beats Studio Pro are over-ear wireless headphones featuring active noise cancellation (ANC) and Transparency mode. ANC helps reduce surrounding noise, while Transparency mode lets outside sounds through when you need to remain aware of your surroundings.

The headphones also support lossless audio over USB-C and offer three built-in sound profiles for wired listening. Personalized Spatial Audio adds another listening option for compatible content.

Beats rates the Studio Pro for up to 40 hours of battery life with ANC and Transparency mode turned off. Enabling either feature reduces the rated listening time to up to 24 hours. Fast Fuel charging can provide up to four hours of playback from a 10-minute charge.

For everyday use, the combination of noise cancellation, long battery life, wireless connectivity, and USB-C audio support makes the Studio Pro a versatile option for music, commuting, travel, and work.

Should you buy the Matte White Beats Studio Pro?

At $149, the Beats Studio Pro are worth considering if you want a pair of over-ear headphones with ANC, Transparency mode, and USB-C lossless audio support. The discount is especially appealing if you prefer the Matte White finish or don’t have a strong preference about color.

There is one caveat: this isn’t necessarily the lowest price the Matte White version has ever reached. Previous Walmart deals have reportedly brought it below $149, so shoppers chasing the absolute lowest historical price may want to keep that in mind.

Still, the current offer puts the headphones $100.95 below the $249.95 price common to most other color options. If you’re happy with Matte White, Walmart’s $149 listing offers a meaningful saving without sacrificing the features of the standard Beats Studio Pro.
