Sennheiser today giving you a $200 and CAD$300 limited-time discount on Sennheiser HD 820 Over-Ear headphones at some stores. Talking about its actual price, the Sennheiser HD 820 Over-Ear headphones cost you $1,999.95 in the U.S. and CAD$2,599.95 in Canada, however, due to the limited-time offer, the Sennheiser HD 820 Over-Ear headphones will cost you only $1,799.95 at Sennheiser (US) ($2,299.95 in Canada), $2,299.95 (Canada), Amazon, Adorama and Walmart.

The Sennheiser HD 820 over-ear headphones were announced at CES 2018 and offer audiophiles, mixing and mastering engineers, and listeners in studios, listening rooms, and on-the-go rich and accurate audio reproduction. The curved glass covers reduce resonance by reflecting sound to a specialized absorber.

Their closed-back structure provides up to 26dB of passive noise cancellation. The dynamic Ring Radiator transducers from Sennheiser have a maximum SPL of 103dB and a frequency response range of 12Hz to 43.8kHz.

Comfort and stability are provided by handcrafted microfiber ear cushions and a robust metal headband with an integrated damper. A 10′ impedance-matching cable gives you more distance from your headphone amplifier, while balanced 4.4mm and unbalanced 1/4″ plugs give you more options.

For easy travel, the Sennheiser HD 820 headphones come with a microfiber cloth and a storage box. Concave glass covers are used on Dynamic Ring Radiator transducers to display the technical components inside and to reflect sound waves from the back of the transducer to an absorber, resulting in little resonance.

The components work together to give comfort and uncompromising quality, from the handcrafted microfiber ear cushions that isolate the listener from ambient noise to the silver-cladded OFC cables, gold-plated plugs, and strong metal headband with an inner dampening element.

A balanced 4.4mm gold connection or an unbalanced 1/4″ gold plug can be used to end a specially tuned symmetrical, impedance-matching cable with low capacitance.

The Sennheiser HD 820 headphones come with a microfiber cloth and storage box, as well as a USB flash drive with a PDF instruction manual and frequency response curve.
