French video game publisher Ubisoft announced this week that it is reorganizing and renaming its monthly video game subscription services. The service previously known as Ubisoft+ will now be called Ubisoft+ Premium and will combine the previous Multi-Access and PC Access pricing tiers into one $17.99 per month package.
Ubisoft+ Premium will allow subscribers to access new Ubisoft game releases on launch day across Xbox, PC, and Amazon Luna platforms. Additional perks include premium game editions, downloadable content, and monthly subscriber awards. Existing PC Access subscribers will keep their $14.99 per month plan.
In addition, Ubisoft is launching a new subscription option called Ubisoft+ Classics focused specifically on providing access to legacy Ubisoft titles. For $7.99 per month, subscribers can play popular back catalog games like Assassin’s Creed, Far Cry 6, Rainbow Six Siege, and Watch Dogs: Legion. Ubisoft+ Classics is included in both the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium membership tiers and is also available directly through the Ubisoft Store on PC.

The subscription shifts come as Ubisoft aims to integrate the Activision Blizzard catalog of games onto its platforms, a concession it gained from Microsoft during its acquisition approval process. While details and timing are still unclear, Ubisoft’s subscriptions head Philippe Tremblay hinted that these Activision Blizzard titles would come to Ubisoft+ Premium in the future.
For now, Ubisoft is focused on leveraging its own extensive back catalog and major upcoming releases to drive subscribers to both its revamped and newly launched subscription plans catering to different gamer interests.
