Meta‘s text-based social platform, Threads, has announced several new features aimed at enhancing user experience and content creation capabilities. The platform is introducing insights, draft saving, and post scheduling functionalities, marking a significant step forward in its competition with X (formerly Twitter).
Creators can now access detailed performance metrics, including view counts, engagement rates, and audience demographics. These analytics will empower users to refine their content strategy and measure the impact of their posts.

To streamline the content creation process, Threads is enabling users to write and save multiple drafts on the web platform. This feature, along with the upcoming post scheduling functionality, offers creators greater flexibility and control over their content distribution.

While these features are currently available on the web, Meta has confirmed plans to bring them to the mobile app in the future.
With a daily active user base surpassing 28 million, Threads has rapidly grown since its launch over a year ago. As Meta continues to invest in the platform, it is positioning itself as a strong contender in the text-based social media market.
