The SteelSeries Arctis 7P is optimized for PS5, but also works on PC and Switch; the SteelSeries Arctis 7X is compatible with all of the above, as well as Xbox consoles. All you need to do is flip on the USB-C wireless dongle. As a result, if you own or plan to purchase an Xbox console, the Arctis 7X is the better buy. If you prefer a smaller dongle and a color scheme that matches the PS5, the Arctis 7P is a better option.

If you’re wondering why SteelSeries is selling one of its best headsets at such a low price, there’s a catch: the Arctis 7P and Arctis 7X are older models that won’t be available for long. SteelSeries has recently released the SteelSeries Arctis 7P Plus upgrade, as well as the all-new SteelSeries Arctis Nova lineup. The newer headsets have slightly better sound and significantly longer battery life.

  • SteelSeries Arctis 7P+ $169.99 from SteelSeries
  • SteelSeries Arctis Nova 7 $179.99 from SteelSeries
  • SteelSeries Arctis Nova 7 Pro (PC & PlayStation) $349.99 from SteelSeries
  • SteelSeries Arctis Nova 7 Pro for (PC & Xbox) $349.99 from SteelSeries

The SteelSeries Arctis 7P Wireless Headset is designed for the PlayStation 5, but it also works with the PlayStation 4 and other systems. It uses lossless 2.4 GHz wireless audio for ultra-low latency gaming audio. It has a 24-hour battery life for continuous gameplay, headset sidetone controls, a strong, lightweight steel headband, an adjustable elastic ski goggle band, and lossless ultra-low-latency wireless connectivity.
