For a limited time, when you pre-order the Sony Xperia 1 IV from Clove Technology in the United States or the United Kingdom, you will receive a FREE pair of Sony WH-1000XM4 Over-Ear Wireless Headphones (Black, valued at $341/£279). This is the phone for you if you want a sleek-looking smartphone with superb camera specs and the ability to withstand a busy lifestyle. Offer valid through June 16, 2022, or while supplies last.

The Sony XPERIA 1 IV 5G Smartphone offers pro-level photography to content creators on every major platform. It combines advanced mobile connectivity and internet access via 5G sub6 and mmWave (wherever support) with professional photo capabilities inspired by Sony Alpha cameras.

Its rear 12MP lenses can take 4K HDR video at up to 120 frames per second, but creators will love Sony’s Alpha 9 engineers’ optics and shooting tweaks. A 12MP 16mm ultra-wide, a 12MP 24mm wide-angle, and a 12MP telephoto lens is among the three lenses. The telephoto in particular stands out with an optical zoom range of 85 to 125mm. You can zoom from 16 to 375mm while toggling between digital and optical modes.

For photography, you’ll get similar precision to the Alpha 9, with real-time Eye AF and AF/AE at 20 frames per second burst for all lenses. Real-time Eye AF can work on both humans and animals, and real-time Eye AF tracking is available for photos and videos.

Additionally, 10-bit RAW functionality, manual settings, and a 3D iToF sensor are included, allowing for accurate background separation and perfect bokeh. An 8MP selfie camera is positioned on the front of the phone to handle your selfie demands.

A brighter 6.5″ 4K 120 Hz HDR OLED screen with a cinematic 21:9 aspect ratio upgrades the XPERIA 1 III‘s display. Because of the display’s high resolution, you may use it as a viewfinder for filming, a camera monitor, or to stream UHD content and play the latest mobile games.

The XPERIA 1 IV stands out from other smartphones because of its micro-HDMI port, which adds another professional capability to the mix. It may be used to livestream footage from your DSLR or as a high-resolution monitor when connected to your camera.

By recording onsite with the phone’s mic and sending it directly to the cloud, you can create studio-quality sound with Sony’s Music Pro. AI processing cleans up the audio once it’s been uploaded. It’s worth noting that this processing is only free for the first month up to 100MB, while the audio recording is always free.

With the XPERIA 1 IV, everything from live streaming to AI-processed music can be sent to and downloaded from the cloud even faster. When compared to the XPERIA 1 III, you now have access to both sub6 and super-fast mmWave 5G spectrums. This means download rates of up to 5.6 Gb/s and upload speeds of up to 480 Mb/s.
