Get ready to have your audio world rocked because Sonos is back with the next generation of their portable speaker game-changer: the Sonos Move 2. It’s time to dive into what makes this speaker so special and why you should be excited about its upcoming release.

Sonos has a reputation for delivering top-notch sound quality, and the Move 2 takes it up a notch. First off, it’s now capable of delivering stereo audio, meaning you’ll experience music in a whole new dimension. Two tweeters ensure those high notes sparkle, while a dedicated woofer pumps out mid-range vocals and deep bass for a complete sonic experience.

The battery life on the Move 2 has been seriously upgraded. You can now enjoy a whopping 24 hours of non-stop music playback, more than doubling what the previous model offered. So, whether you’re planning a weekend getaway or just a lazy day at home, your music won’t quit before you do.

The Move 2 isn’t just about great sound; it’s also about versatility. Sonos has listened to users’ feedback and added Bluetooth connectivity, making it easier than ever to sync your audio across all your Sonos speakers. No more frustration — just seamless, immersive sound wherever you are.

If you want even more versatility, the Move 2 supports line-in with a Sonos USB-C dongle, which acts as an analog-to-digital converter. Plus, you can charge your smartphone from the Move 2’s hefty 44Wh battery through the rear USB-C port, making it a real multi-tasker.

The Move 2 is available in classic black and white, but Sonos has also introduced an attractive olive green option. It looks great indoors and can handle the outdoors, thanks to its IP56 rating for dust and water resistance. Accidents happen, and Sonos knows it — they’ve built this speaker to endure everyday tumbles.

The Move 2 carries over the automatic Trueplay feature from the original Move. This means the speaker uses built-in microphones to fine-tune the sound based on your unique surroundings, ensuring you get the best audio experience possible.

Voice control is a breeze with Amazon Alexa and Sonos Voice Control onboard. While Google Assistant isn’t available at launch, there’s potential for future updates in this area.

Sonos has also thought about energy efficiency, equipping the Move 2 with Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0 while reducing its idle energy consumption by more than 40 percent compared to its predecessor. This eco-friendly approach lets you enjoy your music guilt-free.

Worried about battery life as time goes by? Sonos has got you covered. They’re offering a replacement battery, so when your original battery starts to fade, you can easily swap it out and keep the music going strong.

Sonos Move 2 Price and Availability

The Sonos Move 2 is a game-changer in portable audio, with its superb sound quality, extended battery life, seamless connectivity, and smart features, it’s a testament to Sonos’ dedication to delivering unbeatable audio experiences. As it joins the ranks of its predecessors, the original Move and the Roam, the Move 2 promises to be a pivotal moment in Sonos’ history. Sonos Move 2 will be available on September 20, 2023, priced at $449.
