A modern living room setting featuring a wooden TV stand with a gray fabric front. On top of the stand, there is a large flat-screen television displaying a high-resolution image of a mountainous landscape with winding roads. In front of the TV, centered on the stand, sits a long white Sonos Beam (Gen 2) soundbar speaker. To the left of the TV stand, there is an indoor plant with elongated leaves in a pot, and hanging above it are colorful bead ornaments on strings. The floor appears to be wooden, complementing the warm tones of the room’s decor.

If you’re looking to elevate your home theater experience without breaking the bank, the Sonos Beam (Gen 2) is currently a steal. This popular mid-range soundbar has dropped to its lowest price ever, available for just $399 at Amazon, Walmart, Best Buy, B&H Photo, Adorama, Target, and Sonos.

Key features and benefits:

  • Impressive sound quality: Despite its compact size, the Beam delivers robust audio that can fill your living room.
  • Dolby Atmos support: Enjoy immersive surround sound thanks to Dolby Atmos technology, even without dedicated upward-firing speakers.
  • Easy setup and integration: Setting up the Beam is a breeze, and it seamlessly integrates with other Sonos speakers for a whole-home audio system.
  • Voice control: Control the Beam using your voice through Alexa or Google Assistant.

In the background, there’s a vibrant wall art depicting a mountainous landscape under a starry night sky. To the left of the soundbar, there is a small table with various objects including a candle and what appears to be an incense holder. On the right side, partially off the surface, is a decorative metallic object resembling a flower or shell

A few considerations:

  • Limited HDMI ports: The Beam only has one HDMI port, so you’ll need to use an adapter for older TVs or to connect gaming consoles or set-top boxes.
  • Apple Music compatibility: While the Beam works with most major music streaming services, Google Assistant doesn’t play nicely with Apple Music.

Overall, the Sonos Beam (Gen 2) is a fantastic value at $399. Its combination of powerful sound, easy setup, and versatile features make it a great choice for anyone looking to improve their home theater or music listening experience.
