Samsung‘s next generation of Galaxy Buds is shaping up to be a major departure from the company’s usual design direction, with leaked renders revealing a striking resemblance to Apple‘s AirPods.

These purported renders, discovered on a Korean retail website, showcase a significant change for the Galaxy Buds line. A design mirroring AirPods takes center stage, complete with stems, vents, and even a similar charging case.

While the overall silhouette is reminiscent of AirPods, Samsung’s take incorporates a metallic silver finish and slightly sharper angles, offering a distinct look.

This design shift, if confirmed, represents a major break from Samsung’s established design language. The recently released Galaxy Buds 2 Pro and Galaxy Buds FE both sported a rounded, stemless design.

The exact release date for these new Galaxy Buds remains under wraps. However, considering Samsung’s history of hosting summer Unpacked events, these wireless earbuds could be unveiled there.
