Unlike conventional, boxy projectors, The Freestyle’s versatile cradle allows for a perfect viewing angle from the wall to the ceiling with rotation of up to 180 degrees, with a few easy clicks. Weighing just 0.8 Kg, it enables users to show high-quality video anywhere – be it on tables, floors, walls, or even ceilings. It doesn’t require any separate screen, all you have to do is just tilt it and enjoy big-screen moments anytime, anywhere, and change the way you play.
The Freestyle has auto keystone, auto-leveling, and focusing functions, producing stunning picture quality. Auto keystone allows the device to automatically adjust its screen to any flat surface at any angle, ensuring that the image is always precisely sized.
The Freestyle’s autofocus feature allows it to focus on a sharp, clear image up to 100-inch (2m 54cm) in seconds, while the auto-leveling feature keeps the screen level on any surface—from rough camping grounds to soft mattresses and everything in between. The Freestyle enhances the viewing experience by optimizing projection based on the color of your wall – no need for a white background.
The Freestyle is the first portable projector in the industry to include certified OTT platforms. Consumers can also take advantage of smart features included on Samsung Smart TVs, such as built-in streaming services and mobile mirroring and casting capabilities that work with both Android and iOS devices.
The Freestyle comes with a button that syncs it with Galaxy devices for those who own them. Users can utilize their Galaxy mobile as a remote control with simply a push of a button. When no Wi-Fi networks are unavailable, they can use mobile hotspots.
Customers can enjoy a cinema-quality sound experience no matter where they are with Freestyle’s Omnidirectional 360-degree sound and powerful built-in speaker. When not in use as a projector, The Freestyle alters your scene by allowing you to choose from ambient mode, prism lighting effect with a translucent lens cap, scenery, or one of your own photos.
The Freestyle also has the first far-field voice control technology in the industry. When the screen is turned on, users can use their voice to search for content. They may use the device to listen to music or check for the weather when the screen is off, exactly like a smart speaker.
The Freestyle is compatible with external batteries that support USB-PD and have a power output of 50W/20V or higher. Users can take The Freestyle with them wherever they go, whether they are away from home, on a camping trip, or otherwise out and about. It also comes with a specific portable battery base that is compatible with The Freestyle.
It supports 3.6V charging and has a charging capacity of 32,000mAh, allowing you to project your favorite content for up to 3 hours without the need for a separate charger. The Freestyle also keeps you connected while you’re out and about, with two USB-C ports that let you charge your smartphone while watching content.
