As crisp sunlight filters through blossoming trees, nature’s palette unveils the first signs of spring. Drawing design inspiration from these tones of renewal, Pantone has crowned a delicate peach shade as 2024’s Color of the Year: Peach Fuzz. With its creamy hue evoking images of velvety fruit fuzz and fuzzy peaches fresh from the orchard, Peach Fuzz “embodies feelings of togetherness, community and collaboration,” says Pantone.

In an exclusive partnership timed with this annual Color of the Year unveiling, Motorola is releasing a glamorous special edition of its slim status symbol phone, the Razr+, now bathed in Peach Fuzz. Available in select global markets for $699.99, the striking makeover dresses the Razr+ in this season’s color.

“We’ve seen how technology and color can intertwine to provide a vessel of creative expression,” Motorola says of the collab. Specifically calling out how the Razr’s vegan leather casing “beautifully complements the device’s warm, contoured design,” Motorola promises Peach Fuzz will kindle the imagination and capture attention.

This marks the second consecutive year Motorola has aligned phone launches with Pantone’s Color of the Year following 2022’s Very Peri and Aqua Foam collections. The company also brought back its iconic pink Razr this year, reviving a fan-favorite color from the early 2000s.

With Peach Fuzz’s tender and tactile associations, Motorola is anticipating this re-imagined Razr+ being in high demand for the spring social season. For design and tech lovers alike, it promises to tick all the boxes as a coveted accessory. So whether looking to add a splash of uplifting color or make a seriously stylish statement, the Peach Fuzz Razr+ may prove to be the season’s most irresistible must-have.
