Get ready for note-taking nirvana! OnePlus just unveiled the Pad 2, and it’s bringing the heat with a bigger screen, a super-powered processor, and a brand new stylus that feels like you’re writing on actual paper (kind of).

The coolest upgrade might be the optional Stylo 2 pen. It’s not just your average stylus; this one has a built-in magic trick. It vibrates ever so slightly when you write on the screen, making it feel like you’re putting pen to paper. It’s a small thing, but for anyone who loves the feel of taking notes by hand, this could be a game-changer.

On top of the fancy vibrations, the Stylo 2 is also way more precise than the original Pad‘s stylus. It has four times the pressure sensitivity, so you can go from hair-thin lines to bold strokes with ease. Plus, it’s got a grippy, leather-like material that makes it comfy to hold.

The screen itself got a makeover too. It’s now a whopping 12.1 inches, giving you more space to doodle, write, or binge-watch your favorite shows. The resolution got a bump up too, so everything looks nice and sharp. But the best part? The screen is almost twice as bright as the original Pad, so you can use it outside without squinting.

The Pad 2 gets a sound system upgrade with two extra speakers, bringing the total to six. Louder and clearer audio is always a good thing, especially if you’re watching movies or jamming out to tunes.

Speaking of tunes, the Pad 2 keeps the impressive 9,510mAh battery from its predecessor. That means you can unplug and play for ages, and the super-fast 67W charger will get you back to 100% in just 81 minutes.

If you’re all about productivity, OnePlus is also selling a separate Smart Keyboard that snaps on magnetically or connects wirelessly. It’s got real keys for comfy typing, and it even unlocks a cool feature where you can tap your OnePlus phone to the tablet to share files instantly.

The OnePlus Pad 2 goes on sale on July 30th, starting at $549.99 for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage version. The only color choice is a sleek “nimbus gray,” a bit more grown-up than the original Pad’s bright green. The fancy Stylo 2 pen will cost you $99.99 extra, and the Smart Keyboard is $149.99. If you just want a basic case, the Folio Case 2 is a more budget-friendly option at $39.99.
