Microsoft has announced that its Notepad for Windows 11 has been redesigned with a dark mode, which is now accessible to all Windows Insiders in the Dev Channel. According to Microsoft, the newly redesigned Notepad for Windows 11 will use system theme preferences, which means that if you already have your Windows 11 system set to dark mode, Notepad will be set to dark mode as well. You can change this in the new settings page, which will also be redesigned and include font options.

In their blog post, they also mention a newly redesigned find and replace experience, as well as the addition of multi-level undo support. These all-new features are now available in the Dev Channel for Windows Insiders; those who have already joined the Windows Insider Program should check for updates.
