Microsoft Windows 10’s support is ending in October 2025, with Microsoft urging users to upgrade to Windows 11 for security reasons. A free upgrade is available for eligible PCs, while a paid extension is offered for Windows 10. Millions of users have recently upgraded to Windows 11, but tens of millions remain on older, unsupported versions.
