If you thought the Windows XP-themed Crocs were the peak of Microsoft’s strange and wonderful footwear era, think again. Microsoft is doubling down on comfort—and distinctively loud fashion—by putting a literal Xbox controller on your feet.
As of today, November 25th, the Xbox Crocs are officially real, available for purchase, and they are unapologetically bold.
Priced at $80, this limited-edition release isn’t just a standard pair of black clogs with a logo slapped on the side. The design team has gone to great lengths to mimic the topography of an Xbox Wireless Controller.
The top of the shoe features molded, fixed versions of the iconic A, B, X, and Y face buttons, along with a D-pad and analog sticks. While you unfortunately can’t actually use them to play Halo, they add a tactile, 3D element to the shoe that goes beyond standard printing.

According to product details from GameSpot, the design includes:
- Controller layout: Left and right analog sticks and the directional pad are raised elements on the upper.
- Bumpers and triggers: The sides of the clog feature replica shoulder buttons (bumpers), maintaining the controller silhouette.
- Branding: A white Xbox guide button sits near the ankle, and the Xbox logo is integrated into the hinge of the “sport mode” ankle strap.
- Hidden details: The cushioned footbeds are labeled “Player Left” and “Player Right”—a nod to the old-school split-screen co-op days.
Microsoft knows its audience loves customization. Alongside the shoes, they are releasing a specialized five-pack of Jibbitz charms for $20. These aren’t generic shapes; they represent some of the biggest franchises under the Xbox Game Studios umbrella:
- Halo: Master Chief’s helmet.
- Fallout: The iconic Vault Boy.
- Doom: The classic DOOM logo.
- World of Warcraft: The “W” logo.
- Sea of Thieves: The Reaper’s Mark skull.
This selection highlights Microsoft’s massive acquisition history, bringing together Bethesda, Activision Blizzard, and classic Xbox IP onto a single piece of rubber footwear.
The Xbox Crocs and the Jibbitz pack are available starting today, November 25th, primarily through the official Crocs website and select retailers like Dick’s Sporting Goods.
Given the cult status of previous “gaming fashion” crossovers—like the Minecraft and Sonic the Hedgehog Crocs—stock is expected to move fast. Whether you view them as the ultimate “couch co-op” comfort wear or a collector’s item to keep in the box, they are certainly one of the most unique pieces of merchandise Xbox has released in its 20-year hardware history.
